Stormie's Stems
Stormie’s Stems was founded in 2024 by plant enthusiast and maker, Stormie Finch, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. What began as a passion for propagating and collecting houseplants quickly grew into a business dedicated to sharing that love with others.
Stormie’s Stems specializes in unique, handmade accessories that bring personality and creativity to your plant collection. From hand-painted cement pots and sturdy handmade support poles to whimsical clay decorations—like mushrooms, snakes, and octopus tentacles—every piece is crafted to make your plants stand out.
In addition to the home base in Tishomingo, Stormie’s Stems can also be found at booths in Madill, Tishomingo and Durant, Oklahoma, bringing bold, one-of-a-kind plant vibes to plant lovers across southern Oklahoma.
At its core, Stormie’s Stems is about more than just plants—it’s about creativity, community, and helping people find pieces they’ll truly love for their plant collections!

Choctaw For Children
Hi, I'm Averi Taylor Scott - an artist, educator, and language nerd living in Atoka, Oklahoma. I created the book ‘Choctaw For Children’ (available on Amazon) and I'm currently working on several projects all inspired by my Nanny, who taught me the importance of keeping our language and stories alive. Her love for our culture sparked something in me from a young age and it's stayed with me ever since.
My interests include anything creative and I spend way too much time refining tiny images until they feel just right. I care a lot about preserving culture and making learning tools that actually spark curiosity; Whether it's building word lists for kids or creating visuals that tell a story, I like projects that mix creativity with meaning. If it involves imagination, precision, and a little heart—I'm probably into it. -
