Literature Fest

What is it?

Literature fest is a night time market / music and poetry festival that we are hosted in Durant Oklahoma! Andd guess what? IT’S COMING BACK!!!

We are looking to have vendors share their creations / trinkets and listen to indie music and poetry!

You can scroll down to check out vendor spots, apply to perform, and VOTE for your favorite weekend. The polls will be closed August First, and we will apply for the application before August fifteenth!

Make sure to share this website to spread the word and check back frequently for new updates! We will be sharing vendor and performer information often!

Because Rising is focused on smaller individuals, you might just see a neighbor!

Voting helps us tell vendors how many people are tuned into an event. A lot of vendors put a lot of work into their table, and it’s a large amount of energy to do so. We want them to be excited and prepared about people being there! Unlike with the Cover for our yearly print, try to cast a vote only once!

Tickets to Literature Fest

Rising Works on a “pay what you can” system. While it’s difficult to do that in this modern day world that prides it’self on consumer compliance, we do what we can to make it work. All of the donations (vendor donations included) will go towards the artists onstage. Regardless of donations, everyone is welcome at Rising, and especially at Literature Fest.
