Literature Fest

What is it?
Literature fest is a festival we are hosting in Durant Oklahoma! We’re looking forward to handing out candy to the children attending and supplying information and resources to the adults participating!
This is the second year that we are hosting it, and unlike last year, this year the performances are free to the public!
What can you look forward too?
Well, we’re hoping to have an array of small business vendors, nonprofit organizations and a bunch of amazing independent performers!

The Historic Market Square is on the corner of Evergreen and 1st, across from the fire station!
Make sure to get here early so that you can check out all of the amazing businesses around the square!

Literature fest is a nighttime market, a space for literature and music to combine in soft and gentle dance.
Whether you play an instrument, or you yourself are a conductor of rhythm, you can apply to perform here.

We are looking for vendors that cultivate magic.
Whether that is the magic of holistic health, of pride, of found things, or of beauty.

Tickets to Literature Fest
Instead of selling tickets, we’re asking that the community donates what they can. If you would like to donate to literature fest, all donations are going towards paying the performers on stage and helping pay for accommodations.
To donate, please go to this page, click the drop down and select “Literature Fest” and then click the second drop down and choose “One-Time Donation.” Thank you so much for helping the indie community! Visitors who donate can show their confirmation code to be entered into a giveaway at the event!
